BOOKING A SESSION
PORTRAITS / FAMILY
Portrait sessions are honestly one of my absolute favorite things to capture, they give people the space to just be themselves, and that's where the real beauty shines through.
I've photographed individuals, couples, and families. and the one thing that stands out every time? Most folks feel a little unsure or awkward in front of the camera at first and that's completely normal! It's why I love guiding you through it all. suggesting natural poses, finding the most flattering angles, and using soft, beautiful lighting that enhances you without ever feeling forced or overly posed.
Once everyone starts to relax (usually just a few minutes in), the energy shifts, the laughs come easier, the connections feel authentic, and the session turns into something laid-back and genuinely fun. Giving way to timeless portraits and those raw, heartfelt candid moments that truly reflect the real you.
It's SIMPLE
Just fill out the contact form or give me a call (send a text if that's more convenient).
We'll hop on a quick chat and pick the perfect date and time that fits your schedule while making the most of beautiful natural light.
I currently shoot exclusively on weekends, and chosen afternoons because that's when the light is softest, warmest, and most flattering.
Times can shift a bit throughout the year due to seasons and changing sunrise/sunset patterns. It's usually just a small adjustment, but it's important, it guides us to the best window for whatever season we're in.
Spots fill up quickly, especially those prime weekend golden-hour slots, so don't wait too long! Contact me today and let's get your date locked in before someone else snags it.
I'm genuinely excited to create something beautiful with you, looking forward to hearing from you soon!
Commercial / BUISNESS
If you're a business owner or entrepreneur, commercial and branding/lifestyle sessions are a fantastic way to really make your brand pop with clean, professional photos and visuals that are made just for what your marketing needs are right now.
You get sharp, high-quality product shots that show off every detail beautifully (great for your shop, ads, or packaging), plus real, natural lifestyle and branding images that feel genuine. the kind that help people connect with your story and actually trust what you're offering.
Everything gets customized to fit your vision, and the timing just depends on the size of the project.
I'd love to hear what you're working on at the moment and the kind of feel you're going for. Lets see if I can help!
GRADUATES
Graduation portrait photography isn’t just a record of a milestone, it’s a creative tribute to your academic journey and accomplishments. traditional grad photos once focused on the cap, gown, and a formal pose, BUT thAT look has evolved quite a bit over the past few years.
graduation portraits have become MORE personal and expressive. Instead of the standard cap-and-gown headshot, many graduates now use THIS OPPORTUNITY to express their individual style through thoughtfully chosen outfits. Location choices have ALSO broadened. using outdoor campus spaces and scenic spots they may frequent are becoming popular backdrops for these lasting images.
outfits....?
Opt for rich, vibrant, bold colors, they absolutely pop in photos and give you that extra energy. Steer clear of heavy black or stark pure white; both can wash you out and make the image feel flat.
Everything should be freshly pressed, crisp, and wrinkle-free. If you're on the fence about a couple of outfits, bring extras just in case. (Quick pro tip for the girls, throw on a simple camisole or tank underneath so you can swap tops quickly without messing up hair or makeup.)
men, for headshots, use a V-neck undershirt beneath any button-up. it keeps the collar area clean and distraction-free. Bottom half barely (if ever) shows in a proper headshot, so don’t sweat the pants or shoes unless they specifically ask for full-body. Focus on the top game.
makeup....?
Ladies, if you can DO it, get a pro makeup artist. Even if you DO YOUR MAKE UP EVERYDAY, camera makeup is built different, it has to hold up under WEATHER, LIGHT and look natural. Knowing you look your absolute best lets you chill and actually have fun during the shoot. If you're only updatE photos every SO OFTEN, go all in and make them the strongest ones possible.
If a pro gig isn't likely,
go a tAD heavier than normal, LOOSE any shine, DOLL up the eyes AND cover spots. DOESN'T HURT TO BRING YOUR DETAILING KIT to the session for touch-ups.
Gentlemen, THIS may not be your dAILY ROUTINE, BUT GET some translucent powder to cut glare and spot-cover any blemishes.
Simple, but IT makes a difference.
Ah yes, posING....?
I don't expect you to know. Almost nobody does, check any group pic a buddy posts and you'll see it. I'll walk you through the whole thing. how to stand, where to put your hands, flattering angles for your face, of course we try to smile naturally, and how to play up your strong points while downplaying anything you're not loving. Everyone starts off feeling awkward, we shake it off quick and it gets easy fast. i'M ALSO ALWAYS OPEN TO YOUR IDEAS.
(retouching) no fakes....
I was brought with film, so I WAS TAUGHT TO DO AS MUCH AS I COULD IN THE CAMERA, Everything's done by hand (takes longer, but the quality shows). retouching can't beat AUTHENTICITY. The goal is TO REVEAL the best real version of you, not a fake, over-filtered look. Standard retouch covers: brightening teeth, clearing red eyes, removing blemishes, and lightening dark circles.
Extra work is available, (background, clothing details and aging work, etc.)? It's extra. (one more reason pro makeup is worth it).
When do I get my proofs....?
Proofs usually come back in about a week. Once you pick your favorites, finals with retouching take a few extra days. Need them quicker? just tell me your deadline when you book, I'll do what i can to get them to you sooner.
What if I need to change the date? well, life happens. Try to give me at least 24 hours notice if you can. we'll find a new date for you and the original booking fee secures you a spot.
Who owns the copyright....?
OMLOR PHOTOGRAPHY retains the copyright on all the images. When you buy the session or digital files, you get a license to use them for personal stuff plus business/promotional use (website, social, cards, marketing materials, etc.). there will be a fee if you need to purchase them for complete ownership.
